Those who can pay a bit more are subsidizing those who can’t. This is my only way I have to increase access-to-care, which for me is a moral issue.

Do you accept Insurance, provide Superbills, or use out-of-network benefits?
I accept out of pocket compensation instead of taking insurance. My practice works with out-of-pocket-reimbursement to provide care in the best possible way. Sadly, insurance companies have interfered with my client’s care, and I won’t risk it again.

Will you give me a superbill so I can get reimbursed?
If you are an individual client with out-of-network benefits, yes.
If you are a part of a couple, no. Insurance companies see the challenged couple-dynamic as the result of a mental illness in one member of the couple. For me this is a non-starter. I’m working with you to heal a dynamic between you. I’m not interested in saying I’m treating something I’m not. That’s insurance fraud.

What forms of payment do you accept?
ln-person clients: You pay me at the visit with a check or in cash. There is a bank next door for your convenience. Please arrive with your form of payment.
Virtual clients: You use a credit card or an HSA/FSA card on my payment portal.

Where are you located?
I have a brick-and-mortar office space in downtown Beverly. I’m at 234 Cabot St., in Suite # 10

What days do you see clients, and at what times?
I see clients Monday-Thursday starting at 11:30 am (first appointment) and take my last client generally at 3:30 pm.

Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes. Many of my clients prefer in-person sessions, but I have some clients I’ve never met in person. Virtual sessions are equally effective.

Do you do online therapy?
Yes. Here is my permanent link. Keep therapy-content in our sessions.
If you text or email me and don’t get a response in a few hours, call me. If your communication is very time sensitive, call me. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, I cannot fill that space with another client. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from your appointment will be charged a fee.

Late cancel compensation:
If you need to cancel late, within 24 hours of your session, and it can happen, I request that you cover 75% of the session rate you normally pay.

Grace period:
If you can reschedule within the week you don’t need to use up your “Free Oops.”

Free Oops:
I provide a “Free Ooops” every calendar year – a fee-free late cancellation. The couples I see who make the speediest progress are:
• oriented to EFCT,
• often use a workbook between sessions, and even
• attend a Hold Me Tight Workshop during their time with me.

Plenty of couples have excellent results without using these resources, but there’s no doubt they do help. See “Couples Resources” page for these tools.

What if one of us is not sure they want to repair the relationship?
Sometimes we start with some Discernment Therapy before we jump into EFT. We decide that together. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy is ideal for repairing and rebuilding a relationship. We need a different approach if one of you is not “all-in” to discern the trajectory of your relationship.

Link to schedule 30 Minute Consultation:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/appointments/AcZssZ1_-h2Zuc2JcyKmKa5EJ8NZwTT8r9aBbzexrrU=
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” background_enable_color=”off” background_image=”https://wovenheart.co/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/birch_back.jpg” parallax=”on” min_height=”400px” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://wovenheart.co/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/weave_back-scaled.png” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” background_image=”https://wovenheart.co/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/chairs-scaled.jpg” min_height=”600px” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_section]

Getting StartedFees and Insurance What are your fees?
I have a sliding scale and I don’t ask to see proof of financial need- you select what you can pay, knowing that if you can pay at the higher end of the scale you are making therapy available for those can’t pay as much; you increase […]

["post-195","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
